Auto fullscreen mode doesn´t work with dvd´s, only with files
Is this going to be fixed later?

Yes, I really don't understand what's the point of adding new features when there's a major bug to be solved.

The bug would not get fixed with just removing one alphabet or one line in the source, it takes time to identify and rectify. Please be patient. Thanks.

Streaming from HDPVR?

I really appreciate all the development effort for MPC-HC. I use it quite a bit for recordings made from my Hauppauge HDPVR. The player provides excellent quality playback (with a bit of tuning, of course).

I noticed that the later versions of MPC have a "Capture" option. Is it possible to stream live directly from the Hauppauge HDPVR?

Thanks.

Both Pc's are using the same version of MPC HC, and graphics cards uses same drivers (same card in fact, just swapped over)....very frustrating!

Any Ideas?

Do you use dual monitors+Aero?

Hi ar-jar, do you think it's possible to add a delay after change screen refresh rate? It's necessary for renderers such as Halii and MadVR.

Thanks a lot!

No, single monitor and aero disabled....is there a way of telling from the 'ctrl-j' details?

With rgs to 2), what refresh rate do you use on your monitor? If you're running Windows 7 then make sure you choose 23HZ instead of 24HZ. What renderers have your tried?

The monitor is a Samsung LA46A650 LCD TV. It changes it refresh rate depending on the input signal. I use it with both PC's (as per previously mentioned) and one PC has no problem producing 24Hz, the other is jerky.

why choose 23Hz for win7?...

shouldn't the refresh rate be 24hz for a 24Hz file to help eliminate judder though?

I've tried EVR CR and EVR Sync, with and without D3D. Only D3D will give reasonably smooth playback for the 24Hz file on the HTPC. However, the other PC will happily produce 24Hz file using the EVR Sync (with fullscreen settings 23,50-24.00 -> 1980 x 1080 32bpp 24Hz).

23 hz actually corresponds to 23.976 which is what you'll find most of your content will probaby be designed for

I think refresh rate is controlled by graphics card instead of TV.

I used a batch script that reads media FPS from MediaInfo and change refresh rate by change CCC profiles accordingly, that worked fine until recently - MadVR becomes super laggy with dual monitor + Aero......

I'm guessing maybe it's cause by Aero preview feature introduced after r1420, I'll do more tests tonight and report back. Is there anyway to switch this feature off?

I guess what I mean is that the TV responds and changes to suit the graphics output. The TV will display 24Hz, or 50Hz or whatever when MPC HC is set the auto-change monitor mode.

It is felt that 23Hz in Win7 is native 23.987.
I'll check it tonight.
If this is true, then for content with 23.987 better set display mode with 23Hz.
I'll change auto-change monitor mode in this case.
