That's an idea. I honestly haven't researched 3D lately as I also lack one of them there Three Dee TV's I hear are all the rage. I THINK I convinced my wife to let me get a new one this summer to replace my Sony, so, maybe then I'll start looking into it. Maybe by then you and madshi will have us hooked up for 3D.

I need some help troubleshooting an issue I'm having with MPC-HC in DXVA mode:
I just got my old 8800 GTS 640 (VP1) RMA'd by EVGA. The card they sent back to me is a 450 GTS which has the VP4 feature set. I tested out the video playback of the card in MPC-HC 32-bit and it decodes wonderfully for high definition H.264 encodes in any of the EVR renderer options. However, the player seems to introduce visual artifacts when testing out MPEG-2 encodes I've done. In testing out 24 fps files, it appears to create interline twitter/interlacing and speeds up video playback to 30 fps (at least in my eye's estimation). What would cause this issue to appear all of a sudden? As an aside, playback with the madVR renderer hasn't changed at all. EDIT: System specs Windows 7 Ultimate w/ SP1 MPC-HC 1.6.0.4014 EVGA GeForce 450 GTS 1 GB GDDR5 nVidia Forceware r296.10 WQHL EVR default settings Sample video clip can be found here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/94bcrk Last edited by Biggiesized; 25th April 2012 at 04:54. |

As for Stereoscopic Player, it lacks many important features (such as seeking control, subtitle support). I wasn't trying to state Stereoscopic Player is better, but rather suggest it should be quite easy to incorporate similar behaviour into MPC-HC. |

I have a small problem with selecting automatically the right subtitles.
My .mkv file has 2 English subtitles, I would like to choose the second but no matter what I tried it always chooses the first which is the default one. I tried eng, eng2, etc. but none worked. This is a screenshot of the subtitles selection in case it may help: |

2) Why? What a waste of space. If you really want to display something, let it load internal/external covert art (front). (something Zoom Player has done for a long time now)

1) My current "Recent Files"-list meets those criteria, still I don't understand why its position has to change.
2) Is it a WMP feature to not display the logo when there's only audio to render?? What sense does it make to display the logo when you're only listening to audio files and thereby making the window unnecessary big.

1) It's a problem when I use the mouse on the File menu, instead of the keyboard shortcuts or the up/down arrows ;
2) As I said, the very-OLD versions of Windows Media Player. Also, if the logo picture is a waste of space, why not drop it entirely? In this way, no space will be "wasted" while MPC-HC is simply open, "doing nothing". Quote:
