sound out of sync
hi guys,
well i am trying to rip a dvd and i have been having some problem. i want to rip jeepers creepers. i started out with smartripper but got only vobs without the .lst file. so i went to the stream proccesing and chose the video and the english 6 ch (i want to get dolby). this time i got the .lst so i went to vob2audio and tried to get an mp3 of the sound. well it didn't give me any languages to choose from (english...) and the start button didn't work! so i tried to make a .lst file from what i got at the begining, again with a problem. this time vob2audio didn't give me languages but wrote AC3 on all of the options, and again the start button didn't work. so i went to dvd2avi and got the sound. made the huge wav i had (996mb) into a small mp3 (80mb). then i tried to get the audio onto my film but it was out of sync. can anyone help me? pls?

Vob2audio doesn't work very well for a lot of people and is outdated. The best program for direct vob -> mp3 is BeSweet.
If you want Dolby Digital sound there's no other way than to keep the original AC3 file. If you want Dolby Sourround (Pro Logic), which means a 2 channel downmix, BeSweet does that. Sibe |

@mustaneekeri:
'choose Video: Framerate -> change so video and audio durations match ' sometimes this gave me also synch problems, but without activating it the synch is perfect.
