Yes...

For those re-muxing MKV sources it would be most useful, as the PAR signalling is often removed from the stream and placed within the container.

Cheers

While not. Can you create 2 identical releases in sonic scenarist and tsMuxeR? And make sure what release from sonic is work on PS3. When I'll can compare releases.

@roman have you had a chance to take a look at my samples i uploaded yet? i still am getting a black screen and no sound with all my 1080 files when creating bluray structure/avchd dvd regardless of what format they are in even original files straight from bluray without encoding give the same result. this is very odd as all my files will play on my pc and if streamed to the ps3 and also from ext usb. btw all files will play in avchd dvd/bluray structure if created by
tsremux any ideas

ps this problem is apparent also with latest Version 1.7.1(b)

Pixel Aspect Ratio

Edit: My bad... I just realised this was already answered. Isn't PAR the acronym for Pixel Aspect Ratio not Picture Aspect Ratio? I thought AR meant the Aspect Ratio, which is what the player uses to determine the picture AR.

Am I misunderstanding this?

maybe tsMuxeR could auto update (like mkv2vob) or better yet give the option to update within the prog instead of having to dl the new option and then uninstall/delete the old.

Now i just tried demuxing the video/audio with tsmuxer (1.63), running through h264info (22 alpha) and then muxing the new video and original audio with tsmuxer (1.63) and the result plays perfectly in the tvix.

does this mean there is a bug in tsmuxer ?

@Roman. Thanks for the good work. Please keep it up.

I tried Cars (all regions with 28 files) with V1.71, and can confirm that tsmxuer still doesn't join the files together the same way as demuxing, running through h264info and remuxing. there is still the bump at the seams, judder, audio out of sync followed by a frozen image when played back on the tvix 6500a.

Update: I also retried Charlie & The Chocolate factory HD-DVD. It went through all the way to the end, but I got several E-AC3 Out of sync messages (which I didn't get using EvoDemuxer, VC!CONV & tsmuxer. The same for Bourne Supremacy HD-DVD, but this time it failled 63.1% through, with the 'encountered a problem and needs to close' message fo Offset 00044d1d.

Thank you for this muxer !

I still have a question :

Will it be possible later to mux dvb-sub subtitles in a ts stream ?

(It's the only way for me to read subtitled HD movies from my "freebox")

Yes. I have started to improve subtitles support in tsMuxR.
I plan the following:
1. Add .srt subtitles support and ability to convert srt to PGS
2. Add dvd subtitles support and ability to convert srt to SUB.
3. Ability to convert SUB to PGS
4. Add HD-DVD subtitles, ability to convert HD-DVD subtitles to DVD SUB or PGS.
5. Add other txt based subtitles

Yes PLEASE!!! I am so looking forward to this. I have a whole Army of people on AfterDawn that I continually help with PS3 video files. I recommend tsMuxeR to be used on almost every occasion.

Please hurry on this! I give you full permission to stay awake for the next 48 hours until this is created! Where would you like the 1kg jar of Coffee shipped to? Hehe...

#6 - multi-titles (like for anime)
#7 - menus
a) (1 by movie, )
b) for chapters with a picture of the first frame of the chapter )
c) for audio track
d) for subtitle ON/OFF

what do you think ?

I would vote only for simple menu (sciptable menu) without b c (Audio can be switched on/off during playback) and d (subtitles can be switched on/off during playback)

Great work Roman, great prog and support
Now tried Planet Earth HD-DVD and after removing pulldown stream is detected as interlaced.
It is possible to do same kind of work as VC1CONV does?
When I import VC-1 raw stream from VC1CONV, your prog detect it correctly as 1920x1080p, 23.976.
Thanks

simple menu at first.. but can add the feature for the others menus. Everything can be configurable.

example
if you pass the command -menu-audio it will create the audio menu, ..

Same thing on "Neues vom Wixxer HD-DVD" ...after removing pulldown with TSMuxer Mediainfo says interlaced, just like before....

VC1Conv did the job.

Yes. tsMuxeR remove pulldown marks only, It does not try to convert interlaced video to progresive. why converting to progressive mode is necessary? It does not improve visual quality.
