Glad I don't buy DVD-PRO anymore

I recently started using Nero CD Speed to test some of my DVD-R's, so I thought it would be interesting to pull some of my first DVD-R's and try them.
Well to my surprise (well maybe not complete surprise) a DVD-PRO disc I had used over a year ago, no longer works! My drive won't even acknowledge there is a disc in there! I'm going to try it on my standalone but if my dvd-rom drive wont' read it, I doubt the standalone will.

I also tried an old Ritek disc I had burned about the same time period (over ayear ago). It was a G01 disk, not even a G03, and it still works I got 0 errors and it had 4.3 gigs on it. not bad eh? So I'm pretty happy with Ritek's now. I wish DVD PRO didn't fade like that...its pretty sad for all those who used them.

I don't have any old Princos I can try...just the RW one, and you know those stink.
