Thank you for this atak.

I will try a video with this for my 3.40 OE-A PSP

Looks great so far, let's see what happen after encode is done.

Uhmm . . I don't know if it's only me or not. I really like the features RipBot has and really want it to work.

I encoded a 170mins video yesterday and it took me so long (3hrs and 40mins) and it takes all the CPU power when encoding, which makes me unable to do other things :S, lags my PC unlike megui. megui has the priority feature and when I put it to LOW, it won't slow down my PC and I can do anything I want in the background (That's one thing why megui is cool).

Also I did not output the file :| (I must be missing something). I tried 3 times. I first encoded without checking if I have ffdshow or not and it wasn't success so I download a ffdshow sse2 version and tried the encode again, still doesn't work and also the PREVIEW feature is not working for me (Am I missing something?). The resolution selections are great but I have never seen 480x208 for PSP 2.35AR movies :\ I do 400x192 for 2.35 movies and are always good. Anyways, will like to try with that res.

Can someone pls point me out what I am missing? I can't encode anything (It did encode and says ALL JOBS ARE FINISHED!) but the file isn't where I wanted it to output (where is it? is there any special folders for it?).

One suggestion, can we have the "LOW", "MEDIUM", "HIGH" priority feature? it's very important for me or people like me who wants to do other apps while encoding

Thank you very much for considering an app for us.

Anyone know if any of the profiles will work with the new Zune. The reviews on the Zune have been excellent. Amazon and NewEgg claim they are selling more zunes than ipods. The new Zune's supports H264 but the 30G does not. Here is the specification that is given on their site for the H264 video.

== Video ==
H.264 video[4] – Baseline Profile up to 2.5 Mbps peak video bit rate; 720 pixels x 480 pixels up to 30 frames per second (or 720 pixels x 576 pixels up to 25 frames per second). Zune software will transcode HD H.264 files at device sync
[4] In MP4/M4V container format, Quicktime (.mov) files will transcode at time of sync.

== Audio ==
Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) (.mp4, .m4a, .m4b, .mov) - .m4a and .m4b files without FairPlay DRM up to 320 Kbps; CBR and VBR up to 48-kHz

Uninstall AviSynth , FFDShow , Haali Media Spliter and do reboot.

Download and install:
AviSynth
http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ease_id=366702

FFDShow 2007-12-10
http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ease_id=439904

Haali Media Splitter 2007-06-03
http://tirnanog.fate.jp/mirror/Misc%...er20070603.exe

It must work after reboot

I have never seen 400x192 either I don't know if you know but you can use full resolution 480x... with OF 3.50 or newer. I suggest to upgrade to custom 3.71 m33 or OF 3.73

I think it's time to upgrade to dual-core. I have Core 2 Duo @ 2.8 Ghz and everything is working well even during encoding.

The resolution of the display is 320x240 but the video out of the device will support 720x480.

Thanks

I really appreciate the effort your putting into RipBot264. I really like the H264 codec and your simplistic design allows me to create MP4s for my sons PSP.

Thank you again.

Is there any way this could be made to support Divx 6?

And is there a source that us developers can view and work with??

Thanx in advanced ~Ajax

RipBot264 tool was designed only for x264.

Source is not available at the moment and honestly... I don't know if it will ever be.

Thanks for the tool. Easy to look at interface. One question, though: why is there no pause button? Encoding to 264 takes about a million years, so pausing every now and then would good.

One more vote for priorities.

I don't know if it can be done though.

P.S. MKVCrazy, you can always use windows bulid-in feature to lower priority of x264.exe (the problem, though, you need to do it after 1-pass too, because it resets somehow).

I just try this tool. realy nice gui.

but I didn't find a ac3 audio profile. There is a way to encode ac3 input audio track to ac3 output ?

and is it possible to convert the fps ?

I have a source 24fps that I want to convert to 23.976 (video and audio).

thanks

I like this tool, great job. I use it to convert my divx movies for my iPod.

One tiny thing. Some of my movies are in *.divx format, could you allow your program to open those directly. Right now I need to rename them to *.avi and then rename them back.

Only mkv container allows to use ac3. Switch to MKV.

Replace fps=24 in DirectShowSource to 23.976

or add ChangeFPS(23.976) below

First method changes speed , second removes frames.

no problem

I have a problem with encoding video in the newest version. Videos encode fine, but green frames will flash in the beginning. I've tried using CCCP and the latest version of ffdshow, both give the same results.

I know that.. but the problem is that in the audio track Profile, there are only : AAC and ogg vorbis options.. no AC3.. even if I choose mkv as container

Great prog. Any chance it could be made to encode to .ts files or vobs ? I need to keep DTS with h264 in a container that my player can play.

Source audio must have 6 channels.

it only applies to video
