Problem ripping Shrek

My Shrek DVD plays ok on a DVD player but playing through my LG8120B DVD Rom it freezes part way through. I thought I'd try ripping it and playing as a Divx file but it wont rip Vts-01-2.vob. The other vobs rip ok but file 2 gives an error message in DVD Decrypter and just stalls in Smartripper.

The disk surface is perfect.
Any ideas?

The DVD Decrypter log is:-

Its only a little 'Read Error' :- Try cleaning the disc. Turn Fast Error Skip on.
Click retry a few times when you get the ASPI error box, after that, just click 'Ignore'.

BTW, Well done for posting the log with me actually having to ask you to do so I wish more people were like you!

Thanks for the tips but it is still sticking around 13% through.
I've cleaned the disk and it looks ok and changed the setts ad you suggested.
Ignore doesn't seem to help it move on.
Any other way to get at this file?

Clicking Ignore should make it move on to the next sector. If you can, get a friend to try the disc in their drive. Some are more fussy than others. If you've just bought the disc, take it back and get it changed.

Thanks again.

Using ignore I eventually got the file - after 2 hours and with over 1000 read errors!!

Apart from about 30 secs of jumping around, the movie is now playing ok from the hard drive though.

Now I'll try and learn how to convert it to Divx and get some of my 5 gigs back!
