Conversion to Mpeg2

Hi

I have been having some problems creating movie files to be played back over my JVC GZ-HD3 camcorder.

I found this is possible using the bundled cyberlink software but the quality is not up to par and interlacing is terrible. I think the main problem I am having is I cannot find a suitable encoder that can output to the ISO/IEC 13818-2:1996 standard.

If anyone can find a suitable way of getting any high end encoder (Canopus, TMPGenc etc etc) to output to this exact format but in .tpd not .tod that would be great, the camcorder is very tedious and will show HDD error if the format and names are not exact. As a last resort a one click encoder will do as long as it is better then cyberlinks attempt.

Here is a 5 second example (2MB) of the colour bar for anyone who wants a shot at re encoding this to .tpd I cannot supply a longer file as I am using 64k broadband http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XHZ6NL3J
