Playing back a decrypted HD-DVD from HD still says incompatible graphic drivers

is this normal? my card has a digital connection but doesn't do HDCP

I assume you are using PDVD 7.1/7.2 ?

Use PDVD 6.5 instead.

make sure your drivers are the latest version, would let me use a slightly older version of nvidia drivers.

works here... might be an incompatibility issue with your system...

run the BD/HD advisor and see if it gives you any warning / red flags...

I'll try 6.5..I suspect its a 7.1/7.2 problem since it checks for HDCP cards

That's what I would like to know because it seems they are still there

Are the restriction bits stripped from the stream while decrypting with BackupHDDVD?
Otherwise this functionality should be added if possible.

I can play the backuped movies with PWDVD 7.1 Ultra on my 2.0Ghz Dualcore Notebook
and also can send it 1080p24 with
DVI out to my projector. My Notebook doesn't have HDCP,so
the restriction bit must be stripped off.
When i use the XBox HDDVD drive on the Notebook with
PWDVD i can't use DVI for copy protected HDDVD's.
Only Running Scared and Rides are working with the XDrive and
DVI output ,because they aren't protected.
So it's a real pleasure to play the movies from harddisc.
There are titels like Van Helsing or Miami Vice who had problems
when played from the XDrive. From harddisc they are working
fine.

Pdvd 7.2 works perfectly without hdcp components.
If you use nvidia graphic card you have to install the latest driver (eg. 92.91)

Any advantages installing the latest (93.xx) with Purevideo HD support?

I think there is something wrong about decrypting.
The decrypted video is playable without any restrictions.
That's why muslix64 make his famous BackupHDDVD... :-)
