I didn't change the way main pages are generated - just the thumbnails... strange strange strange....
Can you POST your log - not attaching it, because it needs approval... Can you try the EXACT same compilation with build 454? Last edited by deank; 11th March 2009 at 19:18. |

I am very happy you added this feature.
But it seems to need a little work. I leave it checked and if the source directory file extensions are the longer versions (4 char) it causes an error. The longer extensions names get set if the program errors out during running. If I don't check the option the 3 or 4 char extensions work (mts or m2ts, etc). |

Are you saying that multiAVCHD crashed and did not finish and now some files are in the source folder and some not?
[12:25:24] Obtaining info: 000-1.m2ts This is not good at all... (-1)?! edit: Good it was just a message not real (-1) file It seems something got wrong.. you should not have both MPL and mpls files when using [x] edit avchd on load... Last edited by deank; 11th March 2009 at 19:59. |

What does that Obtaining info mean? I get that all the time when AVCHD are used as the source. It doesn't seem to bother anything. |

i removed this LOG message because yesterday I did some changes and it just left out.
It was used to get duration and width/height from m2ts files when importing AVCHD folders (not mkv/ts/m2ts/mov files), because multiAVCHD needed to know if any existing m2ts needs to be set as NonCompliant title. |

Starting with the cleaned source and build 454 the XMB menu was built fine. Not sure what happened the first time. I looked at the source dir and one of the txt file dates was changed. I wonder if when loading the AVCHD with the option "[x] Edit AVCHD on loading?" enabled failed, it changed some files (play list clip info)? I didn't reorder anything just selected apply.

When you don't change anything - use CANCEL... I'll change this in some of the next builds. Yes, apply changes playlist file names.
In fact I changed it in build 456. Last edited by deank; 11th March 2009 at 20:27. |

I think you asked earlier today.
Yes, I can add external posters if you place something along your input files - for example if your input movie is movie-file.mkv and your poster is movie-file.poster.jpg or movie-file.jpg multiAVCHD will use it. I'll add it tomorrow. Last edited by deank; 11th March 2009 at 21:55. |

I guess I'll add another .txt file in output AVCHD folder named multiPOSTER.txt with links to posters or default if title background will be used, ie
c:\movie1.jpg c:\movie2.jpeg d:\blabla\movie3.png default f:\blabla2\movie5.bmp Also I can add a button in EDITOR tab when clicking (for NAME/Thumbnail) to get option to browse for image. It will be better to copy posters to output avchd folder and use them if AVCHD folder is reused... I'll see how to implement it. *** XMB: in build 457 you will see video/audio info for title-1/title+1 and video info for title-2/title+2. Last edited by deank; 11th March 2009 at 22:53. |

PS3 Lockup
I have one title with one chapter mark that causes my PS3 to lockup. It is chapter 10 at 45min mark. The PS3 lockups whether I select the chapter via the XMB menu, via starting the Movie and pressing chapter skip until I hit chapter 10, or starting at chapter 11 and using prev. chap skip button. I can play the video from chapter 9 right through the chapter 10 mark with no issue.
By lockup I mean the movie play back stops. I can bring up the options menu and display bar and tell the PS3 to abort playback. But it never aborts playback. If you press the PS3 button and select shut down it will beep three times and you have to power cycle the rear switch. Anybody know what to look for in the video files or BD menu files to find the issue? Can a chapter mark end up right between a MTS file boundary and cause issues? I am using a external HDD formated FAT32 with AVCHD with 5 titles. |
