Hey I just re-encoded a Bluray Remux and something weird happened. It seems to have not re-encoded just repackaged it or something.
I am using default settings with RipBot264 "CQ: 22" etc only thing I change is the crop to get rip of black borders and denoise FILM. The file size at the end of the encode was 16.5gb :S Here is the MediaInfo for the source: Quote:

@Trayman
I understand you now. Also I never caught a movie like that. Perhaps you must use the VobBlanker: http://download.videohelp.com/jsoto/vobblanker.htm Or ReJig (IFO Mode): http://www.videohelp.com/tools/ReJig Last edited by jandor; 22nd January 2012 at 14:18. |

I tried ripping bluray subtitles from a bluray. It ripped the .sup file but when I looked in the .mkv the subtitles were not merged into it.
I manually had to rip the sup file to srt and mux it in with SupRip and mkvmerge from the .sup file that was created by ripbot Last edited by james2432; 22nd January 2012 at 16:35. |

Jimmy,I'll be interested to hear how you get on , I don't use home group either and have a Windows home server 2011, which is on 24/7 so old like to make use of it for distributed encoding overnight.

Hi Atak,
Is there any chance you could add some 2.0 AC3 options for MKV (or even just 2.0 192kbps)? I realise that bitrate for bitrate AAC is superior, however my blu ray player only supports AC3 or DTS within MKV files. Last edited by iSeries; 23rd January 2012 at 17:13. |

Hi Atak, could you add the option to sleep when finished encoding, or even just the option to run a BAT file will suffice please?
Can't use the Sleep when idle option in W7, as MS can't seem to work out that 4 cores running at 100% is not idle, and it just goes to sleep whilst encoding, so i have to disable sleep when using Ripbot. |

Hi, Atak,
thx for you work at first. Please, why is ripbot v1.17 auto-renaming my Sony camcorder´s files from "anything.m2ts" to just "video.mkv" ? Before it worked as expected from test1.m2ts to test1.mkv, test2.m2ts to test2.mkv etc... I have usually 16 files from one recorded miniDVD, its boring to rename them back manualy. Could you fix it for me, please? |

I'm excited to get it working. I imagine there are higher priorities right now, especially if it's working for non-domain people just fine. I'm quite grateful for the wonderful piece of software. I don't mind being patient and waiting for a while.

@james2432, that's correct. RipBot demuxes the audio, subtitles and video out into individual files for re-encoding. You can use mkvmerge to combine them again into a mkv container if that's what you want.
BTW, MPC-HC plays mkv with .sup files without any problems. I'm not sure about media players like Dune or Popcorn Hour.

I'm using the latest update from January 20th, to encode both Last Man Standing and Last Boy Scout:
http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-La.../10754/#Review Both use the VC-1 encodes. Both have pix-elated corruption every minute or so. I'm rolling back to 1.16.5 to encode these. Is there any information I can provide to help solve the issue with this? |

can you upload 10 min sample (video.mkv from temp folder) to www.mediafire.com. zip file into smaller chunks because mediafire may reeject one huge file.

http://depositfiles.com/files/qzln88dk6 I did not realize that depositfiles.com download was so awful. I won't use them again. Let me know if you want to download it directly from my server. It only has a 896kb uplink though. Last edited by Ryushin; 25th January 2012 at 07:32. |
