Xolo can you somehow host those bluray profiles somewhere that I can download them? Your attachments are still pending approval. I used the HD fast profile seems to work good with bluray.

Did you remove --sar 1:1?

PD: Did you do something with the file before using MUI, like h264info or something like that?

unmodifed?

Do you have last megui?

That makes no sense to me...I created the profile modifying HD DVD profile, which has vui_parameters_present_flag_value=1

Do this happen to anyone else?

Using tsremux to extract is never a good idea...better use xport

But vui parameters present flag value is set by x264, and it normally turns to 1 if you use any vui parameter (like --sar). And in addition...I used the HD DVD profile to create this and HD DVD profile is supossed to turn vui value to 1

As I said...this makes no sense to me, have asked "megui profiles expert" Sharktooth

I read ok this vc-1 video converted with megui and your bluray_profile only if I stream or copy with tversity (mp4).
Now i want to mux this h264 video file with ac3 6ch dolby digital original audio..... and it not works... I must convert ac3 6ch in aac 6 ch?

thanks

I am getting stuttering while using your profiles when i build the bd structure using tsremux. I do not get this using the HD ones not sure why but am thinking it is because your vbv buffer is way too high.

one thing i did notice is that your profile takes some 2 hours longer than the hd profile, what is the difference are you using really higher bitrates? To fit on a dvd-9 my avg bitrate is around 7100 so I am wondering if it is overkill using your profile over the dvd-hd one for a 720p video.

It's not overkill at all, every BD player plays them well, but yeah if you want you can set --vbv-maxrate and --vbv-bufsize a lower value.

your MKV conversion trick won't work for Bluray BDMV
most mkv got borders ripped. your resolution must be 1280x720 or 1920x1080 else you get sound & black screen!

so you must re encode to add the borders and then it works fine on powerdvd and bluray PS3!

i did also change the resolution with h264info 0.18 but i did allways get black or green screen.. until i did resize it with avisynth script.

but anyway nice work!

maybe you can make and easy automatic made disc menu guide and howto import into scenarist?

is there a easy way todo? Adobe encore? or other tools?

edit: i also found out that when i try to convert srt to scenarist sub format.. it only generates 1 png pic with xml file.
and seems to repeat allways that 1 subtitle image in the movie!? weard..?..

am i doing something wrong? or is it becoz Subtitle Workshop4 is behaving weard on vista?

best regards,
PleXuS
