Hi,

on my BD35 sample #6 and #8 play fine.
On both I get stereo-sound and a red image with the following white text: "Multiavchd Panasonic SDHC Test #5 ..."

Regards
KristianR

I'll try to post samples with 5.1ch AC3 and 1920x1080p AVC and 1280x720p. These 2 will let me modify multiAVCHD to respect [x] Panasonic SDHC output and produce some playable output.

Be advised that AVCHD for Panasonic is not a relaxed standard (I believe). I may also try with subtitle streams, but after we make other things work.

It's also working on BD-50 for samples 6 and 8. White text on red background with music. Great news !!

A little disgretion (if you allow:)

I know this is not exactly the subject of this tool but I'm looking for a tool with similar goal (at least for me): non-transcoded video playable on PS3 with subtitles (I do not care about transcoding audio).

Except that in this case I do not have a h264 input but MPEG2 with 1920x1088p at 23.976 fps.

Can anyone suggest a tool to enable this?
Also, what is the best tool to take DVD content to be played on PS3 as a DVD?

Thanks!

Panasonic BD35 (UK - PAL) Firmware v1.4

As above, tests 6 + 8 work - red background, white text, audio.

Test 7 just shows the navigator page as if nothing is on the card.

Samples used 29.970 frame rate, which means PAL Panasonic players have no problems with NTSC frame rates.

I'll post some other samples and then I'll enable the option in multiAVCHD.

If your players accept 1920x1080p @30fps (in sample#8) - it is a good sign - this is a combination of unsupported framerate for a supported resolution (according to AVCHD specifications).

I'll post next samples with fps 23.976 using MKV input.

@all: Sample seven (7) was a tsMuxeR sample with really slight modifications, which I just needed you to test - sorry. I didn't expect it to work - just a try

Nice, huh

I'm feeling the same way as I was 2 months ago when the custom menu started working FINALLY

I don't have a Panasonic SDHC player, but I can certainly say I'm more happy than you
