AVI to AVI Encoding Speed on an Athlon 1.6XP ?

Hi folks !

I´m currently converting my whole VHS archive to DivX CDs.
Here´s how I do it:
1) Capturing in 704x576 either in Huffyuv or MJPEG (Depending on my free diskspace, movie length and compressability of the movie)
2) Cutting out all unwanted scenes (commercials for example)
3) Transcoding to DivX 4.11 in 2 Pass mode using the following settings & filters in VDub:
- Null transform for cropping away unwanted parts of the movie (flickering lines at the bottom, black bars, etc)
-Smart Deinterlace
-Bilinear resize to 640xXXX

My question:
What transcoding speed will I get from an Athlon 1.6XP (or higher) ?
I´m currently running a PIII-850 with 512 MB SDRAM.

Thanx in advance,
D$
