i have by now downloaded everything to play divx including whatever xp already has the problem is that i can't get picture or sound but i can see the player timeline thing moving on win media but on most others it just says either can't play from location or cannot play file type

Why did you open a new thread and didn't reply to your old one?

You still are not specific about what you downloaded and installed. Sounds like you didn't install the divx codec. If you did, are you sure your movie is really divx?

Go to http://www.dvbpool.de/tsunami and download this file "Tsunami-Filter-Pack 3.9.1". Install it and enjoy
