Are you sure of that ??
I've no other program running except multiAVCHD.
And the soft Unlocker tell me the folder is not locked !!!!
In my opinion if the folder was locked, i could'nt rename it with explorer. And i have no problem to rename it with explorer ...

If I drop folders to multiAVCHD the AVCHD/BDMV processing is used by default. With some streams it takes some time to browse into the playlist folder of each stream to select the mpls file and browse out of the folder afterwards. Would it be possible maybe together with the Ctrl or Alt key to select mpls processing instead when I drop a folder to multiAVCHD? In case there are more than one mpls files available a selection window would be necessary to select the proper one.

Yikes!

Using MultiAVCHD v2.5 b535, under the Author tab when editing name I click to add poster image but nothing happens and it won't let me type into or paste into it. I do have XMB selected but can't figure this out. Please help me out with this.

It keeps track ID#4113 which is supposed to be the main track. I don't see how they can be distinguished automatically... probably by their resolution, but it won't always work of course.

And with the profile ??? commentary are generally with profile h.264 high@3.2... or vc-1 advanced@2, no ??

or a dialog box could propose the detected track and let the user accept or choose another one ??

edit :
i 've noticed too, in many movies the main video track is generally at the latest position of video tracks....

@navycrow: can you use multiUPDATE.exe and check with some of your multi-video mpls files?

@jhmac: there are other bugs that need more attention than making posters work.

it's ok now with this movie. it kept the good video track.
in the next day i have other movie to test with multi video tracks... To continue....

i've again a little problem with this movie, there is an audio track (E-AC3) which causes ps3 to hang when selected. i have to test if i get the problem with a standalone avchd created by tsmuxer.

Okay... but please test with the mpls's you've already used with multi-video tracks.. to see if it works with them too.

I can't. The other blu-ray (Changeling) was rented. I don't have it no more. Sorry.
I will receive in the next days 3 new blu-ray disc. Some with multi video tracks, i think. I'll test with them.

Hi Deank,

You're working hard, as usually - developping besides other tools - bravo!

Still two small questions.
1. Why cannot I change the coulour of the titles - it remains
silver as set by default. I use my own background, as in the past.

2. I have some clips recorded form the satellite in h.264 SD format, audio in mpeg. Normally it goes smooth, U must remember my problems ante eac3to. But if I cut commercials, I have a perfect normally playing .ts file without any problem, in which, after multiAVCHD, I have sound de-sync problem in the second part (after the cut point).

Why ?

Thanx in advance, and good luck!

i am having a problem with subtitles, if a subtitle text is very long, the text gets cut off, it doesn't do a word wrap and stack the text on top of each other. i almost think it makes 1080p subtitles for a 720p video.

I tested and it works... Can you use the Preview button and check if you see color change?

I think the problem is with tsmuxer and I posted a message to roman about it.

Use subtitle workshop or other tool to break long subtitles.

Build 536:

While drag/dropping if multiAVCHD detects presence of BDMV\PLAYLIST\0*.mpls it will show additional box if you want to select individual playlists. If you select 'ok' it will open directly the folder to multi-select mpls files to add to compilation.

If you select 'cancel' multiAVCHD will go to AVCHD/BDMV folder import mode (as in previous builds).

Also - a box will show asking if user wants to update to next version - this should prevent update looping for some users.

Build 537: Support for E-AC3 in m2ts/ts files (if importing as files).

Hello Dean,

this has not so much to do with multiAVCHD - it is just to inform you about problems relating tsmuxer and Sony's S-350.
I am (almost) absolutley certain now, that tsmuxer is the program to "blame" for playback incompatibility issues wether or not the discs are burned with ImgBurn or TOAST(mac). I have trashed two DVD+Rs and one DVD-DL over this problem using different ways every time and thus, the results are neither complete nor iron hard proof but, these were the tests and the results:

1. muxing MKV's (576p) with TsMuxer (v.1.99, mac - TOAST has some troubles with MKV's) in .m2ts and burning those with Toast (1x) resulted in the worst stuttering/jumping playback encountered so far.

2. cutting MKV's (576p) with TsMuxer (v.1.99) as m2ts, muxing those with multiAVCHD and burning with TOAST (1x) results in a variety of playback issues. I.e. if "A" is a video containing 2 episodes "A1" and "A2" and those are cut and remuxed as two seperate .m2ts "A1" played back flawlessly whereas "A2" stuttered (but not as bad as in test 1). The stuttering however seized after a few desperate chapter jumps and forward/backward rewind.

3. cutting MKV's (576p) using MKVtoolnix (mac), multiplexing with multiAVCHD and burning with either program works very well - however, the Sony S-350 won't show either the running time of videos or the playback of menu in the display.

Later this day (evening) I will try to add a 576i video to an existing 576p collection after you reported some changes in Build 535.

I have a request though. Would it be possible to add "Font prop's for 480/576 conversions"? Except for FONT SIZE and OFFSET (FONT FAMILY?) is there much need for FONT COLOURS to differ between 720p and 1080p (or if possible 480/576)? If not, this part of the menu could be reduced to something like:
_____________________________________________________
| Font prop's for 480p conversions
| Size: Offset: Bold:
| Font prop's for 576p conversions
| Size: Offset: Bold:
| Font prop's for 720p conversions
| Size: Offset: Bold:
| Font prop's for 1080p conversions
| Size: Offset: Bold:
|
| Font prop's for all conversions
| Family:
| Colour: Border:
|_____________________________________________________

And possibly a little bug (?): adding external audio/subtitles works fine every time with .m2ts and .mkv's as input but not when using .264 as input even if everything else is the same. This just happend to be one of the many tests I tried not documented above.

Stefan

576p/i 480p/i resolutions get their subtitles properties based on 720p settings - don't worry - it will work.

All my tests with .264 files show subtitles being imported...

Code:
[13:57:17] Log started for multiAVCHD v2.5 (build 537)
[13:57:17] Processing 1 input file/folder.
[13:57:17] Temp folder does not exist. Set to D:\_TEMP.
[13:57:17] Converting file to BDMV (D:\Downloads\__TEST\test_tour.264).
[13:57:17] Total of 1 tracks found in this file.
[13:57:17] Adding subtitles (test_tour.srt) (und)
[13:57:17] AR of 16:9 will be set for this title.
[13:57:17] Generating meta file for tsMuxer...
[13:57:17] M2TS stream split set at 4000MiB...
[13:57:17] Checking for external chapters (d:\downloads\__test\test_tour.txt)...
[13:57:17] Using external chapters...
[13:57:17] No audio tracks found!
[13:57:17] Creating Blu-ray folders (tsMuxer)...
[13:57:22] Done!
[13:57:22] Setting vertical resolution value (720).
[13:57:22] CLPI transfer: 00000.clpi -> 00000.clpi
[13:57:22] M2TS transfer: 00000.m2ts -> 00000.m2ts
[13:57:22] MPLS transfer: 00000.mpls -> 00000.mpls
Have in mind that 480p and 576p are not standard resolutions for AVCHD/BDMV. 480i and 576i are.

Can you do tests with older versions of tsMuxeR - like 1.8.34... And buy yourself a DVD-RW

Dean,

quick question relating to a previous post of mine (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.ph...14#post1275514) Does a video stream (m2ts) play differently when initiated via your menu, then when played directly?
I using a NTSC PS3 system.

Thanks again for the excellent work,

NicChap
