trouble ripping Armitage III
I have tried vStrip, SmartRipper, and DVD Decrypter. With vStrip I got the error "vStrip lost sync (not authenticated?)[@LBA 0]" I did authenticate the drive with a softawre player. SmartRipper gets to about 9% and freezes. With DVD Decrypter there is an unacceptable number of read errors. A few simply say "Unrecovered Read Error" some say "Power On, Reset, or Bus Device Reset Occurred" but most of them are "Read of Scrambled Sector Without Authentication" After only a few minutes there were nearly 1000 read errors. Any help or sugestions would be greatly appreciated. Just let me know if there is any more info I should provide. Thanks.

The disc is dead. Give it a good clean, or give up.

In theory you should have been able to do that with all the rippers you mentioned. Just thought I'd add that in
