you loss alot if you do not use madvr the most powerfull video render with his pre and post processing effects, it have RCA deblocking filter, it is simply amazing.
but if you in some case want to use deblocking pixelshader, then you can use Jan-Willem deblocking shader, but Of course madvr RCA deblocking filter have much better result.

just download Video pixel shader pack v1.4.7z http://www.mediafire.com/file/025vse...r+pack+v1.4.7z
and extract it, then change (.txt) file to (.hlsl), and add any shader you want to mpc.

is it worth changing mpc hc to mpc be? as already in mpc hc, there will be no new features / options just patches and current codecs?

Does MPC-BE have any features you miss in MPC-HC? Then changing is "worth" it. If not then not. I'm sticking to MPC-HC. Either way, switching between them is not a big deal as they are so similar. Not a big learning curve.

r=6, sharpen complex, deband and extreme denoise.txt shader, you can found it at sharpen complex, deband and denoise folder.
before madvr RCA deblocking filter appears i some times use r=6 as deblocker shader. yeah it is denoise shader but can get good deblock from him to.

There will not be installers for each minor update. All you need to do is install 1.7.14 and then replace the .exe with the newest version.

If a file does not play correctly then you should post a bug report in the LAV Filters topic. You MUST supply an actual file (upload it somewhere) or otherwise nevcairiel can not reproduce or fix the problem. Maybe if you ask nicely he will accept a torrent link through a private message.

I am willing to add one or two shaders to the installer. But ONLY if:
1) You guys discuss which shaders are good in ANOTHER topic.
2) Several people like a specific shader
3) The shader has decent performance. So include some performance test results in that OTHER topic.
