REQ: VirtualDub2 - beep at end of processing.

When saving a video in VirtualDub2, or saving a large range of frame images, I like to use other apps in the foreground, with VD2 running in the background.

It would be great to have VD2 beep when it finishes a long winded process, such as those I mentioned.

It would not need anything fancy, a MessageBeep would be sufficient.

Have you looked into AutoHotkey? You could probably write a simple script to do it - wait for the processing window to appear, then beep when it disappears.
