Age of the doom9 population

Good morning, encoders.
Some of my old colleagues are getting ready for retirement and it made me wonder what the average age of the doom9 "population" (users) is and whether there's been a generational change during the years or not.

I didn't really get into computers until the late 90's / early 2000's. I should have put more focus into C++ learning rather than looking up things on youtube.

Glad to see that there are still some old farts lingering around here.

By the way, here's Old Fart Axiom #1:
If you find yourself waking up in the morning without any pain, you know you're dead.

Feel free to add to the list.

So how come you voted the 40s as your birth decade?

Right, I failed to take into account the temporal displacement caused by nuclear reactor failures and fake moon landings.

Yep, chros is officially the venerable elder amongst us [seems to think he's in his forties, poor ol' sole. Click the '1' in vote count column for the 1940's].

I note that feisty2 was lurking around (again) earlier tonight, maybe the young fella could add his half-pence to the vote, make it
seem less one sided and not wholly ol' farts like EDIT: Groucho.

EDIT: I kinda miss feisty2, bit of a pain (a bit hi-maintenance what with all that head patting stuff), but I still miss him, come back feisty, we is missin' U.

[ EDIT: how did the exams go(thesis or whatever that thing is) ? OK ?]
