A quick question, for a standard encoding(from a dvb-s registration), which combination of filters should I use? Thanks again !

@flebber
need a sample (but it's again a problem within eac3to) have you tried without -resample48000 ? UPDATE HDC >fixed in log was missing ffmpegaudio hidden options >fixed some tuning to make report >fixed manual with new options >added hidden options qualX.txt. Create a qualX.txt, and HDC will start with a quality preset set at X value. X value must be from 0 to 10 >added support for ass/ssa subtitle in mkv >other minor corrections and cosmetic fixes BHH

buzzqw, getting some x264 crashes now, rebooted, re extracted package and added new update, any ideas? the video is 1080i 29.970, just tried again, now crashes on analyze..ill check other files and report back, may just be media itself...all other media is ok, ill try re-rip and report back.
EDIT Must be disc it self, can't even play stream using mpc-hc, bd rebuilder does not even start the encode....never had problems with any other disc in the series, it's a 5 part set, disc 5 is the only 1 giving troubles, other 4 at 23.976, this 1 only at 29.970...wierd....ill upload sample for you to test with shortly... Plays on my NMT fine though... Last edited by spida_singh; 3rd April 2009 at 09:08. |

My previous DVD (from the sample I sent to you) still not cropped well, even checked "Crop obey to AR":
Should be: Another: when going to audio tab, the "Coding tech" is checked by default, but at bitrate is still nero there. enjoy, Mtz Last edited by Mtz; 3rd April 2009 at 11:17. |

OK, thanks!
Offtopic: some guys which are creating some firmware for NMT/MC (WDTV for example), should read this thread to understand how is working a real "customer support", not to wait 4 months to fix 2 bugs which of course are not fixed. enjoy, Mtz |

Now is starting with nero instead of Coding and everything OK.
I don't know if users know about the "Quality" settings in nero, but for example when I use BeHappy for encoding the audio to AAC I can use bitrate instead of quality. Maybe SMD can tell us more also for NMT compatiblity. I think someday you'll can predict the final size and maybe bitrate is good to guess better the final size of encoding. enjoy, Mtz Last edited by Mtz; 3rd April 2009 at 12:22. |

buzzqw the audio handling with ffmpeg appears to be working fine with both mono and stereo input.
There is one issue in confirming this. Though I can see the process works I can't locate the output file. It isn't located in my C:\Rip\Produced\ output folder I have searched C:\Rip\HDConvertToX_0.7.119.1194\temp\ and my PC but I cannot find it I have tried 2 files one mono and one stereo. Quote:
