Also in previous build I was able to preview settings on the fly - set picture on pause and changed various madVR settings - changes reflected immediately. Now any setting i'm playing with doesn't impact an image on the fly.

you know you can use the advanced render steps setting to get the ms used by NGU.
EDIT: ShowRenderSteps all over rendertimes 32 ms and without 21 ms. well that's interesting... Last edited by huhn; 18th November 2016 at 22:45. |

From my testing soften edges is a rewquirement for live action. NGU medium doubling seems manageable on my HD7770 for SD and 720p on a 1080 display as long as other settings are defaults. Very impressive and happy to replace SuperXR-AB+SR.

looks like NGU doesn't like IVTC images and MPEG2 compression artifacts:

I try find suitable settings for me. Some answers will be helpfull:
med vs high quality difference big, or it like nnedi 32 vs 64? Using NGU (med) for chroma upsampling (chroma upscaling section) add extra quality (vs bicubik 75, for example)? Or i just waste gpu resources? In personal teste, these differences not obvious for me. Anyway, NGU looks great, even without SuperRes. |

I noticed that AMD video color settings are not applied in fullscreen mode when 1080p video is playing on my 1080p screen. The only difference is that there is a "Crop 2" procedure applied during the render.
If I use MPC HC zoom feature and outzoom the color settings are applied. Is there any way to make it work ? I use a combination of Madvr and AMD video settings, works fine with all videos except 1080p. |

For those of you with keyboard shortcuts and NGU not working, please try this test build:
http://madshi.net/madVR91b.rar Does it fix the problem? |
