A lot of problems, need a quick help please !
hello !
I would like to know what is the best software to do these tasks : batch convert vob files to Xvid, with some resizing, and the output video avi file muxed with the original AC3 sound from the vob. I tried vdub mod which can do the batch and the resizing stuff, but it can't seem to mux the AC3 with the Xvid video directly when encoding (instead, it converts the AC3 to PCM, I hate it !). And I also tried Ampeg2avi, which seems to always output the AC3 to a separate file, although I just want it to be muxed with the output avi ! Also an other problem with Mpeg2avi : when batch encoding several vobs from a .LST list, the output is always one avi file...I want separate avi files, just like the original vobs ! Please, what can I do to solve all these problems ? |

-> Use your ripping program to rip the VOBs to HDD.
-> Use DVD2AVI to open the vobs - make sure to remove the other vobs from the list! -> Select "Audio -> Track no." and select demux from the audio menu -> In the files menu, go to "Save Project" and name the output s2v like vob1 (or the number you're at). Then encode as described in the Doom9 guides . Regards Koepi
