Ripped DVD with smartripper 2. burned with InstantVOB conclusion - NO LUCK 1. Ripped with smartripper 2. used Ifoedit 3. burned with InstantVOB conclusion - NO LUCK 1. Ripped with smartripper 2. used Ifoedit to make image 3. burned conclusion - NO LUCK all of this I ve tryed with different burning software. i tryed nero, primo and another one i forgot. the dvd is less than 4.2 gigs so no stripping required. Why is it that I can not figure this out? when i put the dvd in the computer, windvd pops up but nothing plays, its like it gets stuck. what is UDF and its version numbers like 1.02, 1.50 and 2.00? ps- DVD player plays DVD-R, its a month old and cost me $250 someone please help, i ll try anything |

Then try this one:
Catch a DVD under 4.7 GB. Ripp it completly to HD. Use 'Get VTS Sectors' in IfoEdit on all IFO files. Use 'Create Image' button in IfoEdit. Burn the image with VOB Instant. Now you should have a perfect working backup. If not, catch another DVD under 4.7GB. I suggest 'Dude, where's my car' and redo above steps, just to make sure the problem is not only happening with the first DVD. |
