Spectrum analyzer bars - what was it done with?
Hey guys,
I don't know whether this is the right subforum to post this into but it didn't seem to fit anywhere else (sorry if this isn't the appropriate one)... There's a cool YouTube video with a spectrum analyzer in it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPLIicTkBqk I was trying to find out what this was done with - is it a Winamp visualization plugin or another player? (Or maybe something customized?) I've tried to contact the creator of the video but he didn't respond, in fact his channel looks like it was abandoned a few years ago. My goal is to to make an equalizer similar to this, which can be then captured into AVI/MP4. (The best would be to do it completely in After Effects but its built-in equalizer doesn't have peak indicators.) Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance! This might have been through a paid plugin for something like After Effects/etc.
I remember I had a bookmark for one of the popular EQ effects used on youtube a lot. The plugin was only around $10. But, I never did get around to buying it. Most of them are trials/demos. I used to try look for free ones but never did find any. Seeing as he has not been active in a long time, you might want to try on reddit. I'm sure there's a sub for mixing. Someone ought to know this particular one.

Thanks for the reply!
Sounds like a good idea, I didn't even know that there are AE plugins for EQ bars. Maybe there are some that are capable to do this or something even better - definitely worth looking into. I'll try Reddit then, thanks again! |
