Ripping??

I'm trying to rip a backedup movie using dvd decrypter. But when it get to a certain point it cannot read the disc and i just push retry and nothing happens. it only happend with this movie is there something i can do so it can read the disc>?? thanks

Your disk probably has a scratch on it. You might try wiping it off, and watching it in your dvd player to make sure it doesn't freeze at any point.

Its not scratched its a new disc.. but it freezes in some parts of the movie.

If it freezes during playback then your drive can't read it. If might be that you have a bad disc, or an pirate copy that wasn't made right.

PS Does it actually freeze permanently or does it just stop and start off and on?
