PCM 7.1 channels encoding
hi
how can I encode PCM 7.1 channels (Ghost in the shell 2) to another format, like flac, without losses i have extract them with eac3to, but I'm not sure whether eac3to can handle this. and how can I load this video (MPEG 2 HD) in megui, can I use DGDecode_mpegsource?, or should i try graphedit with a special filter thanks Last edited by Altaria; 25th March 2009 at 07:51. |

You don't even need to extract. Use "eac3to.exe sourcefile.xxx -check" Then "eac3to.exe sourcefile.xxx tracknumber: destinationfile.flac" Quote:
Depending on your needs, you could try, tsmuxer, mkvmerge etc. Quote:

thanks,
well i have joined the video (and audio with eac3to) files with avisynth unaligned splice for video only, ich hope it is synchron to the audio Yes, it's synchron but it looks like the 7.1 track is damaged, because eac3to : "The source file looks to be damaged (discontinuity)" When I rip the PCM track to flac it looks like the speech is sometimes very low, how can this be?, I also try "-normalize" in eac3to Last edited by Altaria; 22nd March 2009 at 15:52. |
