mpeg-1/2 dshow filters?

Greetings,

I'm having problems playing back MPEG-1/2 files. I tried different decoders - Leadtek, Nero, Nvidia (doesnt even work), but neither of them works as supposed. My biggest problem as much as I understand is that MPEG-2 Splitter (mpg2splt.ax) doesn't quite work..

So I'd like to ask, what Splitter/Demuxer filter, and what Decoder filters should I use for MPEG1/2 playback? Thank you.

You don't need anything special for mpeg1.

mpeg2: "Elecard MPEG Video Decoder - allows you to view MPEG2 video" in the download section.

The package contains a splitter:

mpeg2dmx.ax - Elecard MPEG2 Demultiplxer is a pull-mode splitter filter

Allright.

Atm I managed to get NVidia's decoder running with Elecard splitter. Nero's seems to work aswell..

Now that it's working, it would be nice to find one giving best quality (post-processing?)
