There's obviously something wrong with the video, since it will not import it. Can you play the video using a software player (mediaplayer/powerdvd).?
What happens if you manually import the video (drag it into scenarist)?

I looked at the ifo file and it has IlVu meaning i need to demux by vob id. This is two weeks notice, i didn't expect such a movie with this multiangle garbage. I think i need to laern a whole new way of reauthoring instead of the big three.

Yes I have two weeks notice too and this has to be done by vobid which rules the big three out.
But it's not too difficult after some practise

It's ok i used dvdshrink and it came out great, just didnt' feel like doing it the professional way, thanks for the time
