Its not that people are on dialup, but people also browse with their phones, which may have slow connections and/or limited data plans.
Is it really necessary to post 6MB of images? Its just stupid. Post a link to the image, and if someone cares he can click it.

Heck even on my fast and unlimited home connection i get annoyed by those posts, they just make the page unnecessarily unreadable.

I agree partly though i think about the Bandwith issue different if you not happy with Mobile Internet how it is today and have no Flatrate then don't use it

The Esthetics side i agree but i believe it's in the Forums Software to manage this dynamically not on the user side Manualy

It's not astonishing, it's often the same guys who have a super long useless signature that you also have to scroll. But the ignore list is working well for these cases (you don't download images in post).

Hey Cruncher, did you know your Sony rootkit link in your signature is dead? It has been for some time.

Feature Request:

- Easier navigation in "Go To..." window.
Make it no longer possible to highlight the separators (: . , ) in the Time field, so that entering values goes easier. Of course that will take away the option to paste.

For more details, please.

Now you can enter the desired number of seconds, without any other characters, only numbers.

Simply because that's not default icon from mpc-hc's icon lib that comes with it. It's from Potplayer.

I see zoom 1 and zoom 2 can be selected by key assignments or shortcuts, but I don't know if they can be changed. Alternately I can have wide or ultra wide customizable, but can't see how to assign them to keys.
So how do I edit the settings for zoom1 or zoom2, or how can I assign shortcuts to those pan&scan settings?

Alternately, touch from outside (which can be left as the default setting), then select 4:3 by keyboard shortcut or "default" under the aspect ratio menu item. Can those be assigned to keys?

Ideally, I'd like to assign 2 separate keys to them, so I can program them on the remote. A toggle between them would do also, but I'd prefer the first. I'd also rather not see a menu item pop up.

Sorry, I did search the thread, but at nearly 1000 pgs, I don't think I'm going to find what I'm looking for.

Thanks
You can easily do more specific presets in the pan and scan menu for fixed and moving lens installations - like 1.78, 1.85, 2.20, 2.35 etc., only the math behind it is a bit tricky.
Problem is again: No shortcuts, so it always has to be right click mouse, pan&scan, preset - would be nicer if a keyboard shortcut could be assigned for these presets.

Another issue is that the player does not remember the preset used when it was playing a file the last time nor the audio or subtitle track selected. That would be very helpful, too.

Apart from that mpc hc does a lot things right and is very stable, but the need to always reformat upon startup with nonstandard screens and displays is a bit tedious especially when all the tools seem to be there.

There is a ticket on Trac about those missing shortcuts. Good things come to those who wait.
