I've not used the license generator in years--how and where??? I see nothing in Changes or the Readme or .htmls or website about how to actually do this (and I get Error Invalid License! when I try to open a file).

EDIT: Bah, I found it by going thru old emails. May I respectfully suggest adding some clues to Readme or Changes e.g. "Find the email you got from me with your User ID and goto neuron2.net/licensing.html and enter it there along with the new Machine ID (from DGIndexNV's About dialog)".

It worked btw...

Of course you may. I'll do it when I make the release. Thank you for the suggestion and for your testing.

You forced me to Google for that one. That doesn't happen very often for me, so congratulations, and thanks for your testing.

I went live with 2047.

Next I will update my other tools. In the meantime, use the old license file for them. The license generator works with both licensing schemes.

As soon as I receive the first license count reset request I will reset everybody to 0.

Thank you everybody for your interest in my tools and for your assistance to improving them over the years.

Since version 2047 I can't save a project anymore. It shut down (crashs?).
Step by step:
I load mpls file
I click on Audio -> Audio demux to select the audio files I want
I click File -> Save Project
It seems a window wants to appear but it closes immediately. It doesn't happen on 2046.
My version comes from the MeGUI Updater. The AVS Script Creator from MeGUI works fine with DGIndexNV.
Tested with 2 BluRay movies on Windows 8.1 64bit.

Did you make a new license as required after updating to 2047?

If so, try to open some other file, like a VOB or TS. What happens with those?

The only thing significant that changed was the licensing method.

Yes, I did. Without the license, DGIndexNV doesn't allow me to select audiostreams.
It also crashs with VOB and mp4 files and it crashs without choosing audio streams before.

That sounds very odd, as you should get a license violation popup if you open a stream without a valid license.Did you download 2047 from my website? If so, please send me an email with your user ID, a snapshot of your Help/About dialog, and attach the license file you made.

Please state your OS and nVidia card type and driver version. 32 or 64 bit DGDecNV?

When you open a VOB, when exactly does it crash? Please give full step-by-step.

Meanwhile I will try to recreate this with a bluray.

No, I got the license violation popup, so I generated a new license, saved it and it works fine until I click "Save Project". It doesn't matter if I select mpls, vob, mp4 file. The program always crashs when I want Save project or click F4. Opening a videofile is no problem.
Do you still want my user ID and machine type?
I have GTX480 with driver version 337.88 on Windows 8.1 64bit and latest updates.

No need for the licensing info.

32 or 64 bit DGIndexNV? I want to make a debug version for you.

Also, try deleting the INI file.

We're going to need to work closely on this, so if you can stick around and respond promptly it will be much appreciated.

EDIT: Seems you can't stick around.

32bit version coming from the MeGUI Updater (dev server).
Deleting the ini didn't help, but I found something out. When I open DGIndexNV twice and leave the one version in background, saving the project works on the other window. Thats weird.

Sorry, I had to clean the kitchen, but now I have time :P
I will do a video to make the situation clear.

EDIT: Hm... I can't reproduce the trick with opening twice... ô.o

Video not needed, I know the scenario from another user. Just please stay online until I give you a debug version. Thank you.

OK download this:
http://neuron2.net/misc/DGIndexNV_Morku.exe

Install Dbgview from my website, all the way at the bottom of the Mine page.

Start Dbgview and set a filter to Include Morku. Then run DGIndexNV_Morku and make it fail. Post the results from Dbgview here. We will know what direction to go in from the results.

EDIT: after you hit F4, does it crash immediately, or only after hitting OK in the dialog?

If you are interested: https://www.dropbox.com/s/q3k5df0inou70p6/DGIndexNV.mkv

How do I set the filter? Include: DGIndexNV_Morku.exe or Exlude: DGIndexNV_Morku.exe? I don't know how to use. Have to be Dbgview.exe in the same folder?

EDIT: How you can see, immediately after pressing F4.

As I said, put

Morku

(not DGIndexNV_Morku.exe) in the

Include

box.

The executable can be anywhere. You have to start it before DGIndexNV_Morku.
