It would be great to have a 25gb BD-R preset, I guess it's about the 23gb mark. Although it can be added manually, I just need to know waht the exact file size should be. Blank Blu-Ray's are still too expensive to get a coaster cos your file size is too big!

WOW! I still thought they were around the $15 - $20 range.
That awesome news. I will have to go check it out.
I have a FRY's about 40 minutes from me.
Thanks for the info.

Atak the copy /b does not appear to produce a file eac3to is happy with.

Code:
eac3to v2.56
command line: "C:\DVDTools\RipBot264v1.10.5\Tools\eac3to\eac3to.exe" "H:\combined_evos.evo" 1:"H:\Temp\RipBot264temp\job1\video.mkv"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EVO, 1 video track, 4 audio tracks, 2 subtitle tracks, 1:49:54
1: h264/AVC, 1080p24 /1.001 (16:9) with pulldown flags
2: E-AC3, 5.1 channels, 1536kbit/s, 48khz, dialnorm: -27dB
3: E-AC3, 5.1 channels, 768kbit/s, 48khz, dialnorm: -27dB
4: AC3, 2.0 channels, 192kbit/s, 48khz, dialnorm: -27dB
5: AC3, 2.0 channels, 192kbit/s, 48khz, dialnorm: -27dB
6: Subtitle
7: Subtitle
[v01] Extracting video track number 1...
[v01] Muxing video to Matroska...
Unfortunately the Haali Muxer cannot handle this source file.
It doesn't contain enough seek/recovery points.
Aborted at file position 692666368.
Any other thoughts? Thx

Bug:

Selecting 2.0 CT AAC-LC @ 96kbps audio still produces multichannel audio.

Code:
"C:\Program Files\RipBot264\tools\bepipe\bepipe.exe" --script "import(^G:\Temp\RipBot264temp\job1\job1.avs^)" | "C:\Program Files\RipBot264\Tools\enc_aacPlus\enc_aacPlus.exe" - "G:\Temp\RipBot264temp\audio.aac" --lc --cbr 98804

Is it not possible to load a job in the queue, close the program, and start the job at a later time?

Any thoughts Anyone ?

i usually make an mkv file (use append in mmg.exe) with all the files and also create a chapter.txt file which solves my probs.

Ummmm.....just manually enter your deisired size in MB. I think BD-25s are around 22500 MB.

BD5=4480 MB BD9=8150 MB (these already exist)

Not really that difficult.

SWEEEEET!

I did not ever try and manually enter a desired size before.

I thought that the presets were the only choices.

Thanks for the info

How would you enter the desired size? Only way I see doing it is figure out the bitrate for encoding to get the desired file size for the video either using a bitrate calculater or the old fashion way and enter that in the bitrate and dont lock a size

As the price of blank BD-R's start to fall (not soon enough I hasten to add!), we'd probably like to see Ripbot264 morph into a Blu-Ray version of DVD Shrink, i.e shrink the main movie and possibly keep the original menus onto a single layer BD-R.

Hopefully it won't be long beofre DVD-ROM's are thought of as the CD-R's of optical media! Aparently Pioneer have already developed a 500gb Blu-Ray disc!
