I don't have _any_ experience with XCD, but I would'nt be surprised if MPlayer would eat it.
EDIT: I just noticed that you're already using MPlayer.....

Burning the CUE/BIN and reading the movie from the burned CD ( .dat ) yes .. but playing the BIN itself ? no idea .... search the mplayer ML once the gmane search function is up again ( seems to be down now ) :

Thanks. Now I have been able to create xcde under linux without problems, but I cannot play it with MPlayer.
If I try to do mplayer -vcd 2 (or 1, now I don't remenber, but I've tried both) it detects an AVI file, but it detects it as being a DV format avi, and is not able to play it (result from play is a grey rectangle with some color boxes moving). The original avi is a DivX one, with mp3 audio, fully playable without problems from the original avi file. Anyone has any idea what am I making wrong? I am able to play VCDs, SVCDs and DVDs without problems... |

Thanx ChristianHJw, but I knew it before ;-)
I just tried with an AVI I have recorded on a normal CD, to test (I recorded it in a CDRW in xcd mode). But the CDRW was new, and tried to read it just after burning, without any scratch yet, and I haven't been able to read it :-( |
