2 audio outs?
Is it possible to get multiple audio signals out of a laptop on board sound card? Like maybe getting some sort of usb audio device?
I've seen the ones that have like 6 outputs but I just need two simple audio outs from my sound card. I'll dj on my notebook for the first time (for a simple little barbecue) and its going to be difficult (obviously) if I don't have 2 audio outs. PCI or usb (preferrably usb). I've tried looking at newegg, amazon, ebay, etc for something but to no avail. Any ideas out there? |

There are tons of USB audio devices - almost any will do.
You should be able to use your onboard audio for one output, and a USB device for a second output. What software are you using? ~MiSfit

Mixmeister actually. I also have virtual dj and traktor. But for this, and possibly most projects from now, I'll use mixmeister. If your question is whether or not I can dual output from mixmeister yes I can- main output and preview output.
So I'm guessing I could have my onboard sound as my preview and the usb as my main (or vice versa)? And vista (or xp) would be able to output to more than one source? |
