If you repeat the conversion but selecting "Target subtitle = NONE" everything will be fine.

In the next release will include some code to check for exotic/unsupported codecs inside MKV’s...
I was having the "no audio" issue. Perhaps this is something I can try too. However, I have to say in terms of video quality, this did an outstanding job! Thanks for this!

Thanks Pistacho !

Improved: bitrate calculation when video source is CBR if "scan bitrates" is completed.

It works fine

No more need to recode at the end of the scanning process.

You should warn newbees to terminate the scanning process. The bitrate fluctuates, sometimes higher than the threshold, sometimes lower, and finally lower

Great program. Quick question - whats the point of the IMDB look-up? What is that information used for?

For the intro that you can put before the movie itself. It gets title, genre and duration from IMDB -- as you could have seen for yourself, when you use the IMDB function AVCHDCoder immidiately lets you see what it's used for

Just try it. The program will let you chose which cover-art to use and which background image to use (if any on-line sources are present, but I've yet to see a movie which had no cover-art or background images available).

Just noticed, for some reason you seem to be talking about AVCHDCoder?! I know how the intro video works there, but this is the thread for BDtoAVCHD. No options for cover artwork ect are displayed?

I recently installed BDtoAVCNH and ever since I can't get MKV2VOB to work right. I keep getting error messages that TSMuxer has crashed. Is there anyway to get these programs to co-exist?

Hi pistacho!

My standalone Player only supports LowRes subtitles (576p) in MKV container. Can you add an option for that?

Aren't subtitles enclosed within a MKV just regular text subtitles and not graphical? In that case, there's no issue of resolution as it's just pure text.

A new version is out!

Version 1.6.3 (11/27/2011)
  • Improved: Extraction of forced subtitles without using BDsup2sub (a new own code is used). This fixes the issue: "forced subtitles disappear too fast" on XMBC and BOXEE BOX players caused by BDsub2sub.
  • New: "Scan bitrates" function now also checks errors on video source (incomplete or corrupted file). If some error is detected, displays a warning message.
  • Improved: bitrate calculation when the audio has the following unusual formats: DTS 448 Kbps (2.0), AC3 224, 320, 512 y 576 Kbps.
  • Small fixes and general improvements.
