resynchronizing audio

Hello,

I'm seeking for the most efficient way to find exact audio-video delay. Is there a tool designed for this task?
It's not dealing with remuxing with correct delay self, just finding the time shift value. I have tried the resynchronizing functions of KM Player but they dont seem to work too exactly. Beyond that is there a good technique to match a/v exactly from usual movie?

Try Media Player Classic. I've used it on occasion to find the correct setting since it can be done on the fly (You will have to click Apply after each adjustment), and when I plug that number into VirtualDub I get a synched file output.
