Sorry about that... It is fixed in build 588 - just update... The problem was with a wrong "move file" command instead of "copy file" for creating HDAVCTN thumbnails

Thanks for pointing it out - I was also getting the error - just had no time to test everything.

For the MOST part?

@rendez2k: Thanks for testing. Please remove your log from the the post.

After few test with 588 build, the loop playback after the last title mvoie not works (with quit on last title finish option unchecked).
On AVCHD with menu after last title playback the player return on menu.
On AVCHD with menu after last title playback the player stop.

Which one is true?

It is supposed to work like that:

* When QUIT is not selected:

1) With menu - last title finishes -> go to menu
2) Without menu - last title finishes -> quit/stop.

Update to 589.

Build 589:

* Fixed forced Quit/Stop if no menu is used
* Completely rewritten DVD IFO/Folder import
* Full information about DVD titles (#'s and duration) on load
* Calculation of total DVD duration
* Display of largest title in a DVD input
* Fixed IFO import with selecting the largest title
* Fixed MP2->AC3 conversion - existing AC3 track (if present) gets overwritten by the newly converted MP2

Dean

A note from Ai_em_ron:

Congratulations, built 588 works fine for me.

I think I also know what my problem was. I work with windows 7 64bit version, and I always got java errors.
I saw there is a 64 bit Java version so I downloaded and installed that, and all problems were gone.

I tested 2 different VIDEO_TS folders and they both worked on the PS3. With multiple audio and subtitle tracks.

So thanks a lot so far.

Maybe Java 64 bit is a tip for other users?
590: Fixed: missing title names in Editor tab / Added 3x3 preview placeholders when you click titlename in editor tab (no preview yet)
590: If you get any errors in editor tab: use multiUPDATE.exe

Here is a small preview of what's going to happen when you click on a title name in editor tab:

Build 591:

* Preview button in Editor tab after you click to edit title name - available only for DVD and FILE media - it won't work if you have old AVCHD or Blu-ray playlists imported.
* Preview will show 3x3 (9 thumbnails) extracted from the whole video (DVD playlist/title)
* DVD import now fully supported
* Full download is updated with the latest BDSup2Sub.jar (3.6.0)

Dean

@shv: It is fixed in 591.

One minor thing i noticed in the latest build is when you select to move the files up or down in the media tab.

Then multiavchd goes to the left corner.

For clips that have 6.1 (Matrix Channels) or 7.1 (Discrete Channels), the clip info only showed AC5.1 or DTS5.1 when it should have been Dolby Digital EX or DTS-ES so on and forth...

Dean, the log file is now showing it's encoding the audio as AC3, but I'm still not getting any audio when I play the output files.

[06:16:53] Log started for multiAVCHD v2.7 (build 591)

[06:16:56] Track has 2 channels.
[06:16:56] Trying to encode AAC audio to AC3...
[06:16:56] Encoding (ffmpeg)...
[06:16:57] Adding AC3 encoded audio track...
[06:16:57] Total of 2 tracks found in this file.

Am I doing something wrong?

As a matter of fact, the HDPVR can encode in AC3 in 2 channels for analog input and 5.1 channels for digital. Take a look at the software you are using (TMT, SageTV, EyeTV...) and change the input accordingly. For capturing AC3 through optical input you might need to update the firmware of your HDPVR.
I'm using the bundled Total Media Extreme to capture. The choices for audio input are "RCA Back" (current setting), "RCA Front", and SPDIF. Doesn't SPDIF require a separate cable (not included with the PVR)? Even if I did that, it wouldn't help with all the recordings I've already made.

How do you play your output files?

You can't get the sound if you're playing directly the M2TS/MTS files. You need to play the whole AVCHD structure with AVCHD/Blu-ray player.

If you have TMT - drag the BDMV folder to it to initiate playback.

a few days ago I reported about convert-problems with subtitles from imported VIDEO_TS folders on HDD, ripped from original DVD with 2 language files and 1 german subtitle. The program always got stuck with a certain title while MENCODER tried to extract the subtitle (CPU always at 60%). After 1 hour I had to abort. With version 591 no difference!
Since I wanted this film in the compilation of 5 movies I tried out as follows and it worked:
with Subrip extracted the subtitle from each film, added it to the imported (joined) VOB´s in TsmuxeR and exported all as m2TS.
These files loaded in multiAVCHD made no problem anymore except 2 errors with Directshow and Mplayer, but only concerning thumbnails in title 3 (see attachments). After closing that message it went on and the final result on BD-RE 25 is completely OK (with subtitles!).

Dean, could you say, what causes those messages?

And another thing: sometimes after closing multiAVCHD and starting again I get the attached message, but taskmanager doesn´t show that process, and also had it even after restarting the computer. Any idea to that?
By the way: the editor preview is GREAT!

Dean-this a very unique and useful program-but I have a question. This is the logfile from a conversion that I tried. Evidently tsmuxer doesn't like the files-but here's the odd thing-I tried the same files before and they converted perfectly-I'm thinking that when I tried to update the program something got botched. Any ideas? Thanks.

This programm get´s more and more important for me as tsmuxer meanwhile has broken with my HDV mov files as thy are nor more accepted. Last working version was 1.9.9 ... and now the only way to process my footage is multiAVCHD. But I fear that it also will break with my footage as it has tsmuxer integrated.

Yes I know ... and it processes my footage

I just don´t understand why tsmuxer 1.10.6 "standalone" doesn´t except my media anymore.
