if not have avisynth ,it only show ripbot264 failed to get data form "revision"
Use CLSID version and it will be read correctly

I can't stress enough how having other programs installed might effect Ripbot264. (Staxrip, MeGUI, AutoMKV,etc)

If you're having script errors, I suggest uninstalling EVERYTHING and starting from scratch.

Just my $.02.

ffmpeg source error

Hello All,

Hopefully this isn't a n00b question but I am trying to convert an m2ts in ripbot (which I love by the way), and I get the following error:

FFmpegSource: Couldn't open C:\temp\Ripbot264temp\job1\Blu-Ray.mkv

(C:\temp\Ripbot264\temp\job1\getinfo.avs, line 2)

Am I missing something totally obvious? Thanks.

OK, I tried things out over the course of the day yesterday for Pirates 2 after downloading the latest RB264 and ffdshow and also not using TsMuxer as you suggested.

Although RB264 tooks hours to initially demux the audio tracks from the m2ts file, I do however get the full movie now. It reads the entire 2 hours and 48 minutes of Pirates 2.

I kicked the job off then went to work. Came back and tested and about 12 minutes into the movie the audio crapped out on me making all kinds of squeeky sounds.

Upon recalling what I had done in RB264, I think I might have selected the wrong demuxed audio file...the .flac file from the PCM track. Strange thing is the audio is fine for 12 minutes.

Anyways, today, I kicked off the job again using the .ac3 file which has the English track. Hopefully this will give me better results.

The only other thing I noticed is that the first pass says it will take more than 4 hours. Before it used to only take around 1.5 hours.

Also, I managed to get the entire movie recognized in RB264 this way:
1) Demux desired audio track in TsMuxer. (Use demux option)
2) Remux the movie track only in TsMuxer and output as m2ts file.
3) Then open these files up in RB264.

At least right now, this method is actually quicker for me since I don't have to wait for demuxing of each audio track, just the one that I want. I guess it also depends on the original disc.

Thanks for the great work!!!
Nick

I'll download the latest RB264 when I get home. I think I already have the latest version of ffdshow from last night when I was trying to get things to work.

Hopefully the new RB264 version will allow me to back up the entire Pirates 2 and 3 movie, not just half of it!

Awesome work!!!

Might have just been a codec problem?

Great! Thanks!

Another question, if you want. I have an MKV resolution is 1280x544, now if i crop i losse image size because it crop the video. If i want to convert to 1280x720, with the ratio 2.35:1 to keep full resolution quality without loosing resolution WITOUT cropping, to keep all full video. Did you know what i can do for that, with something?

The only one way i found is to cropping, but face are stretched, image from top and bottom has been cropped. If the program can just add black bar on the botton and top for the difference (720-544= 176/2 = 88) ripbot only crop 88px but it goes like zooming the picture. I just want that the program add black bars and keep full 1280 and 544 to 720.

Thanks and keeping good work of that program!

Another method is using eac3to to demux video to .mkv and desired audio track to .ac3, .dts, etc. Then import the separate files into Ripbot.

I think (hope) selecting desired audio track will be enabled in the next version of Ripbot.

This is very close to being a one-click conversion tool for BD & HD-DVD.

Great work Atak!!

Atak,

Is there any way for me to build subtitles into the movie so I can toggle them on/off?

The reason I am asking this is because my why is deaf and needs subtitles but I do not always watch the movies with her and would like to have the ability to turn off the subtitles.

Thanks in advance and thanks for building such an awesome program!!!

Hello Atak

I am a fan of your Programm.Super easy to use and, in general, super performance.
But now a question. How can we track screen. There will always be only the English track processed.

Having problems with iTunes in latest Ripbot 1.10.x

Hi Atak,

I am having the same problem too with iTunes now with Ripbot 1.10.1. Prior versions, eg. 1.9.10 works fine with iTunes. The -mpeg4 flag is still in there, so the problem is probably somewhere else. I have tried encoding the audio.aac manually using Quicktime prior to muxing it but that doesn't help this time.

Quicktime is showing error -2010 but iTunes fails silently on import.

I dont think this is Ripbot Causing the errors with other software as much as it might be FFDshow. Make sure when installing FFDshow that you leave no codecs checked but don't limit its control on the next page of installer... FFDshow is made to replace a lot of existing codecs some of whitch belong to Itunes and WMP...

Because you already have FFDshow installed you can just re install Itunes/Quicktime and it should fix any problems resulting from it...

You are trying to rip directly from the blu-ray media?
You need anyDVD HD for uncrypt the media,
after uncrypted drive, You need to open tsmuxerGUI to select one video and audio tracks, remux in M2TS in your hard drive.

After that, the media is not AACS protected and you can work with the media.
