In post #54 above, Keys provided links to Huffyuv 2.2.0.

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.ph...088#post780088

But the links contain different versions of Huffyuv unfortunately.

1st link: huffyuv.dll 2.1.1 CCESP 0.2.2 12/8/2001 (38912 B)
2nd link: huffyuv.dll 2.2.0 12/20/2003 (45568 B)

Good luck,
nibs

Can an admin please add a note to the first post saying that this version is known to be broken for RGB input? It only works correctly when "Reduced Resolution" or "<-- Convert to YUY2" is selected, and the size of the garbled file is much smaller than it should be. Everyone agrees on this.

This thread is the third Google result for me when I search for "Huffyuv v2.2.0", and it's linked from the Wikipedia page for Huffyuv. I suspect most users don't make it down to the end of page 1 where the issue is explained, or page 2 where sh0dan (the OP) says to stick to 2.1.1 (his last post in this thread).

Report the first post and add your message there. Don't expect the mods to read every post.

I would have, if not for "Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts."

I've done it now.

Say, does anybody know if the Huffyuv CCESP Patch 0.2.5 stores the Interlaced Setting in the AVI-File like Version 2.2.0 or still in the INI-File ?

Why not try it out yourself, cant take too long can it.

Here, link to multiple versions of HuffYUV (2.1.1, does not include broken 2.2.0):- http://www.mediafire.com/file/i56981...ffYUV+2-1-1.7z
Includes dll versions, 32bit, 64bit, CCESP Patch 0.25, MultiThreading, and source.

EDIT: The MultiThreading version is no faster than single threading on my duel core Core Duo XP32.

Update:
I tried different captures with Huffyuv (CCESP 0.2.5 single/multi) and seems like the Interlaced Setting is stored in the Video and no longer in the Ini-File once it has been set. I used for PAL/SECAM 288, Resolutions 704/720/1024x576 and for NTSC 240, Resolutions 704/720/852x480. Still, can anyone confirm this ? Thanks in advance

@StainlesS
The Multi-Threaded Version does make a big difference with Cinegy eXpress/eXtreme and MoviePlus for example. The single threaded Version uses more CPU for decoding and is a bit slower than the Multi-Threaded Version

Cheers

Another Update:
This older Thread seems to confirm what Interlaced concerns using the Huffyuv 0.2.5 Patch:
