Okay sorry for falling into senior member trap question
Also isn't it wiser to report my post than asking a trap question ?

It wasn't a trap question, you only interpreted it like one . There's a reason, well one of them, why rules are written and not passed on in other form from mods to users. It's so that one does not need to repeat and describe them in length each time a violation occurs. Asking a user to just read the rules which points out such things is easier than each time writing 2-3 full sentences and explain that such things are not allowed here and why that is.

Anyways, back on topic

Love how you say small, when it requires you to download a bunch of software to work
Whole gui is just one .exe (less than 600 KB). So I guess you prefer to download all tools manually??? Next time don't bother me with that useless posts, ok?

hi there.

i tried your program, and LOVE IT!!!!

1 thing though... is it possbile to have some defaults settings set after the file get's loaded?

i did change the default profile, but
still need to change manually for every file
the
Size under properties, to psp,ipod
De-interlace to ttf -->29.97 (not sure what it does but makes my movies without lines in it)

it would be great if there was a profile for that

also if i change the mode from CF to 2-pass then i can set the bitrate for that movie. is it possible to change it to 1 pass?

keep up the good work

ripbot264 v1.14.3 hangs on x264_x86.exe

I have a fresh install of Windows 7 RC1, Core 2 Quad, 2 GB Ram and plenty of drive. I am trying to convert .m2ts files to stream to my ps3. I was having no problems on my Vista box (but haven't tried v1.14.3 from Vista) with these video sources (blu-ray .m2ts files). The issue I'm now having is this:

It gets through the "Encoding Audio" but seems to get stuck on the "Please Wait - Initializing".

I show a process by the name of x264_x86.exe using 25% CPU and 700k RAM. Nothing shows up in the Ripbot Logs folder.

Any ideas to get me going in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

I've installed ffdshow_rev3052

Thank you,
Ken

Install Windows 7 RTM instead of unfinished RC

Can someone tell me why Ripbot only uses about 40% of the processor on Pass 1 of an encode with an i7 920 CPU?

It probably means that RipBot is handing a bad file name to DGIndex via the CLI.

Do I need to do anything special to add the forced subs in when ripping a bluray? For example, English film, with short sequences of foreign dialogue? Or do I have to specifically add the subtitle tracks?

You must add each track.

I tried with both low priority checked and unchecked. When it does the 2nd pass it works 100% but not 1st pass. I found another thread with another i7 owner complaining of the exact same thing with no resolution.

Also when I do the x264 HD benchmark, it runs at 100%. I'm not sure what's different with the first pass, but I think I could be getting much faster encodes if it would encode at 100%.

both are 1920x816.

i try with RIpBot but wont accept this resolution...
i try with Clown_BD but give me error....
i try with Tsmuxer (i try with any settings), i hear the audio but no video!!!....
I try with mkv2vob looks ok, but the output its a .mpg file, if i remember well...and looks ok, but i'd like to
have it in m2ts. I try to rename the .mpg to m2ts and on my computer looks like it play ok (strange) with
mplayerc (media player classic).

I'd like to know, if there is a way to convert it to m2ts (that work!) without
loosing any wuality of the sound or video!

any suggestion?

Hope someone can give me a hand, thx
byez =)

is it possible to increase the volume for the sound within the program?

I converted one dvd and you can hardly hear the sound.
(when the DVD plays itself, i need to crank up the volume
on the tv also)

This is expected behavior (no matter what CPU) when using --b-adapt 2, which isn't optimally threaded yet.
