What is "ALM"?

Whatever it is, doesn't it come with documentation?

Use a more well-known, documented decoder.

Looks like the Mainconcept AVC decoder and Elecard AVC codec packs (and their manuals) try explain most of the settings...

yes, that's right, because ALM decoder is based on Elecard SDK.
there's no manual on Elecard site too.
the only thing that you can find on Elecard site is: http://www.elecard.com/pdf/avc-plugi...gIn_WMP_UG.pdf
i've already explained the options.
i need recommended settings for: good quality playback.
i know about: hardware acceleration, de-blocking & de-interlacing options on the decoder.

thanks for nothing.
here is:

@edit by admin: My first DMCA takedown notice - feels kinda exciting. Anyway, DivX requested that the information from their SDK documentation is taken down - personally I don't see the sense in hiding documentation of any kind from anybody, but my gut feeling tells me that they might just have a valid case in this instance.
