Not one codec will register?

Did anyone ever had the problem that their codecs won't register at all? Something went wrong on my system and now, no matter wich codec I install, system does not reconise them?? So when I look at my sytems codecs they are not there?

Can anyone please help me with this problem?

Hi!

If your O/S is WinXP, you might want to perform a "System Restore" back to the last time things were working properly...
