Ability to run external program (flac, etc.) has been added to Alpha 11: http://www.sendspace.com/file/lfm39n

Thanks man.
Iti s in ReadMe.txt now. Print "flac -f %filepath%" in this box (flac must be added to search path before). This way you can use almost any of command line encoders, not the only one.
Dialogs are to be replaced on natives in Alpha 12. Wondering, how will they look on Mac.

It never did need it (provided the AOBs were decrypted).

I'm not quite following does the program need windvd to decrypt the AOB or does it work standalone.

Since alpha7 (from the readme): "Extraction from protected media with libdvdcpxm library." This library decrypts the encrypted media, so you don't need WinDVD anymore. (Btw, you can also find a standalone version (dvdcpxm.exe) of the libdvdcpcm in this thread.)

How do the latest versions of DVDAExplorer convert MLP to Wave? just curious.
Before i had to go through a tedious process of tricking the surcode MLP encoder.

It uses mlpdec.c module (written by Ian Caulfield) from FFmpeg project. You can use eac3to in DVDAExplorer for the same purpose without tricks: "eac3to %filepath% c:/dump/eac3to/%filebase%.wav"

Alpha 12: http://www.sendspace.com/file/21sd5j

The problem was in mlpdec.c itself, which was replaced to the newer one. Cannot say that "issue is fixed", you should check log file for "[24] Lossless check failed - expected XX, calculated YY" message. It's about glitches coming...

Thanks mommyman, DVDAExplorer is turning into an all-in-one solution for DVD-A backups. Before it was a really lengthy and tedious process.
