wierd... after i disabled my uac in vista, and re-enable back uac, ffdshow does not get detected. Previously when it was enabled by default, there was no issue detecting ffdshow. Anyone knows how to fix this?

Minor bug report:
When compressing some of my Lost videos, as a test for the new Ripbot, I discovered that when I am creating a custom profile for x264, and I raise the number of reference frames above 9, and try to save the profile, I receive an error about:
Quote:
" is not a valid integer
When I lower the refs to 9, it lets me save the profile. However, after I have run a completed job using this profile, when I try to add a new job to the queue, I receive the same error, and am unable to proceed.

Forget about UAC because even Microsoft admitted that this option is useless and annoying (It will be removed in Windows 7)

I can get actual chapters from a blu ray but I mean if I have a chapter.txt file prior to starting ripbot.

one question about the profiles in version 1.11.4:

i've just startet a new job a few minutes ago and ask myself if there are other profiles for "blu-ray output"???
for example bluray 4.1 high-quality, or bluray 4.1 average quality or something like that...

the reason why i ask is, i dont know how to handle all the options like buffer size etc pp...

you mean the normal bluray 4.0 output in ripbot version 1.11.4 is already for high quality?

for sure! you said there that the bitrate is in 4.0 -> max. 20mbps and in profile 4.1 -> max. 50 mbps and thats my question: a higher bitrate enables more detailed pictures, isnt it that way?! and if you can change the bitrate, perhaps there are other settings which could have a use of a higher bitrate - thats my idea behind the question.

Actually, there are two max for level 4.0.

Baseline/Main @ L4.0 -> max 20 Mbps
High @ L4.0 -> max 25 Mbps

and do you really think you will see a huge difference between encoding @ 20 Mbps and 50 Mbps ?

Even the BBC and their high-quality 1080p content is encoded only at 18 Mbps IIRC

ok, if you say level 4.0 is already high quality, ill accept it, but ive one more question for my understanding: i have a ps3, and when playing back movies, i can see the current bitrate of the movie and sound. is that bitrate ment for the profiles or am i on a wrong way?
