For the price that's a pretty sweet chip.
Considering what I have into this rig I could have built 2 or 3 of those rigs and setup a mini encoding/crunching farm. When I get a minute I wanna poke around for dual socket mobos for it... Something else worth checking out is this ramdisk software. http://www.superspeed.com/desktop/ramdisk.php I have a 3gb ramdisk that I run the benchmark from. It helps with initial analysis and seems to make the first pass a little faster. Currently I'm on a 32bit os ugggggg, but this app lets me use the non accessible ram to make a ramdisk out of |
