Blaze - x264 GUI

Blaze is a new GUI for x264, specifically designed to provide end users and video converters a platform to encode video efficiently and easily. Blaze is full featured x264 encoder with about 90% commands coverage, the rest 10% is achieved from a custom option in the application(just for now). Blaze has got over with Betas and Testing and is out now.

Blaze maintains a rich user interface without eating any system resources that can slow down x264 video encoding.

UPDATE v1.0.3: 1. Added Jobs.
2. DragDrop for VideoFiles added in Query Window.
3. Pause/Resume functionality added in Encoding Window.
4. Taskbar ToolbarButtons added in Encoding Window.
5. Minor Bug Fixes.

Screenshots:

Video Input: mp4, raw AVC, mkv, flv, and anything that x264 understands.

Blaze is just made for Windows Vista and 7. Has never been tried on Windows XP so no results can be predicted for Windows XP.

Download the latest Build

v1.0.3 x64

v1.0.3 x86

v1.0.3 Itanium 64bit

Required Tools:
Microsoft .NET Runtime 4.0 Client Profile
(no need to download if you are on Windows 7)

x264 Command Line:
Download EXE

Please put x264 in "Program Files\Blaze\Blaze [version]\tools\"

Alternatively you can the visit Blaze's Website: Homepage

Hi!

Looks interesting.

I just want to make certain I understand correctly - This GUI processes ONLY Video, no audio or subs?

Yup, currently, only Video, but I'm planning to add a Nero AAC Encoder in it, and a good MP4/MKV Muxer, "Soon" is the word for it , till then you can suggest me cool video muxers, with their Positives and Negatives, I don't like ffmpeg, because it corrupted my couple of videos, still I like it, because its something worth to have.

Pardon me, but I've just created this for Windows Seven and Vista, maybe I can release a Windows XP only version, but that's too far.

To enjoy this site you'll need to update your Flash Player. It's easy, painless and will take
just a moment...
In my book, any web site which depends on SWF files for navigation cannot be taken seriously. Yes, I do have Flash on my computer, but I (and many other punters as well) do keep it disabled by default.

( Just my 2 euros )

Bencos and Realanime, are pretty good GUI like yours, but whitout the settings you have, just as simple as the dev needed it.

"resize slider" (i guess it's misspell), i wanted to say that you put a slider to change the video resolution like StaxRip or maybe spinners like MeGUI, it's just an opinion.

but the GUI is pretty cool! good job.

@fantasmanegro, I guess I'll have to try StaxRip to see what you mean.

Thanx for the "Thanx", you're welcome!

do not works for me, don't start. I've got x264 the following message: x264 [error]: invalid argument: crf = 20,0.
I've found other bugs too: if quality based VRB is selected, cannot switch to "size in MB" and enter my values, duration or final size. Cannot switch in n-pass mode. They are grey not selectable.
Choosing profile from list, VBR change to grey and again (and other settings), cannot start encoding the queues.

If you are are planning to add AAC support, is there a chance for AC3 as well?
