MeGUI and Green Lines

So I am trying to learn MeGUI...it is way nice.

But I have an issue. I am importing files created by my Canon VIXIA HF G30. These are 1920x1080i files and are reported as such in mediainfo and other encoders. However, MeGUI informs me that they are 1920x1088. If I choose bluray for output it will leave green lines on the bottom as I have not cropped and resized; but I should not need to. Any insight into this?

What decoder you use?

Internally the video data are stored in 16x16 blocks then 1920x1088 is stored in 120x68 blocks, but the last 8 lines are invalid (your green lines).
The decoder must crop this 8 lines by default but maybe have problems with your Canon source.
A workasound is crop this 8 lines yourself.
