drag and drop not working now?
thanks for the software. best burning software out there.
i still miss the stream processing functionality as only you could provide and would love to see your capable mind at work applying those capabilities extended to bd/hddvd i had a strange issue though... a few times when i first loaded it up today, i could not use drag and drop at all -- i just got the black slash "no" symbol (no drag and drop for anything was available: for simple / advanced build modes, not for ISO or ISO burn queue) and i had to restart IB a few times ... and this is before anything was burned so i have no log cue for this. anyhow, thanks for the new release, and a bug fix that pertains to a variation of the BD burner i own. |

If you're running Vista / Windows 7 and you run it directly from the installer, it's running at a different level to Explorer (admin Vs normal user) and Windows blocks D+D between two such processes. As you found out (without knowing it), running it via the normal shortcut means D+D will work fine again.

Does this work with win7
I have tried 3 times to install this software on my Win 7 system.
The imgburn-2.5.8 will download but when I try to install it will go through the motions and appear to be down loading and installing on my HD. After all is done I get no Icon on the desktop, when I look in the control panel for installed software it does not show up. It looks like a ghost..... What's up??? |

I've successfully installed on 3 machines using Win 7.
You would have better luck asking on their forums: http://forum.imgburn.com/ A quick search doesn't show anyone else having similar issues. I've only checked first page of search results, though. Can't say I've had similar experiences before.

Thanks for the link.
Dont know what to say. I just cant get it to install. One problem I had at first was my virus shield was alerting me that there was a threat. At first I let it take care of it and the files would disapear. I then allowed the threat to go through and figured I would run the anti virus software latter. It did connected to the website and I could see the progress of the install, but when all was done no Icon or files in my computer. Maybe someone on their forum will have the answer Thanks |
