Cinavia question.

Cinavia technology from Verance Corporation will become mandatory for all Blu-ray Disc players as of February 1, 2012.

What does this mean, exactly? If I was to rip a BR film down to 25 gig, burn it to disc, would these new players still play it, or spit it out because its a rip?
