Force aspi

Been successfully using Vobdec for quite a while. I now have a new ripping problem; After reading the faqs, aspicheck and I find that my ASPI layer is no good. Downloaded forceaspi17.rar. I'm not familiar w/that file extention and can't open it. Makes me feel like a total noob.

What am I missing? Help is gratefully appreciated.

TIA

rar is a type of compression method that allows a file size almost 14% smaller than zip files. Use WinRAR or WinACE to "unrar" it. Look at www.download.com

Thanks.

Do I run forceaspi each time before I rip or do I run it once and the aspi layer is fixed?

ForceAspi installs ASPI support in your OS,
after a reboot (required) you're set forever.
